Storage Sense in Appleton Offers Community Relief with Free Month Promotion Following Tornado Devastation
APPLETON, WI — Storage Sense is extending support to the Appleton community following the devastating EF-3 tornado that struck the area on July 27. The storage facility on West Washington Street is offering affected residents and businesses a full first month of storage free, plus a waived administration fee, as the community begins recovery and rebuilding efforts.
The promotion runs through Aug. 29 and is designed to help Appleton residents and businesses that need temporary or extended storage space during the recovery process.
The tornado carved a 12-mile path of destruction through Appleton and Menasha on Monday afternoon, causing widespread damage to homes and businesses. According to the National Weather Service, the EF-3 tornado reached peak winds of 140 mph and affected multiple communities including Neenah, Fox Crossing, and Sherwood.
