Mariija was very nice and helpful! The units are clean and what I am used to. I was able to use one of the 3 Chateau locks that I already own instead of having to buy another different lock like I had to at Cube Storage (don't get me started on that debacle)!

So, I actually chose a different storage place in the beginning before I came to storage sense and it was horrible experience (my storage unit was full of others belongings and dead mice). I ended up canceling there and searching for somewhere else, and I came across storage sense on Aurelius in Lansing Mi. I’m so glad I did. The ladies who work there are SO knowledgeable and reassuring. (maya and I think the other woman is Stacy. LOVED my experience because of them). They checked our units daily, had great prices and the referral bonus is really nice. I started going thru hard times and almost got my unit auctioned at one point during my stay at storage sense and Maya was sooo extremely supportive and helpful. She didn’t make me feel any worse than I already did. She was emotionally supportive (that isn’t even her job) and she along with management helped me work it out where I was able to keep my storage and get back on track with my payments and I couldn’t be more grateful to her and everyone at storage sense for my experience.I DID find mold on some of my furniture and appliances when I got it home but all of these items were in the very back of the storage, where the workers wouldn’t have been able to easily notice. But that can be easily prevented with couch covers as well. I was paying for protection on my things, so I believe I could be reimbursed (there’s a new woman working there and I am waiting on her to get me the info to file a claim, but she is very nice too!) Overall I couldn’t have picked a better place to trust with my things, and I’m glad my first experience went left otherwise I don’t think my things would be cared for the way the ladies at storage sense cared for them. Thank you to EVERYONE who puts in the work to make this establishment great. I’m not sure if the other locations are the same but storage sense on Aurelius in Lansing is the absolute TRUTH.

Great friendly staff. I accidentally left my unit unlocked going to pick up another load and the manager seen it missing a lock and secured my unit until I returned. I feel safe having my belongings stored here

I liked that I was able to do everything online and in minutes. The storage unit is slightly smaller than advertised but I was still able to fit everything in it that I needed to. I had no trouble opening the gate and everything looks clean and fairly well kept. The front desk clerk was also very nice and easy to work with.

I needed a storage space and waited until the last minute to get one. When I drove up, the manager wasn't there and the door was locked.I called customer service and they got me settled into a storage unit within 20 minutes, all over the phone. Excellent!

So far so good. Very accommodating and the customer service was great. Our unit (a 10x10 has a regular size door (instead of the big roll up door) so some items won't go in. This was never discussed so had no idea it was a thing. We'll see if my first bill reflects some disputes on the paperwork but otherwise it has been a smooth and easy process. Thanks Maija

Called at 4:00 pm and needed a unit asap as my son was moving out of state early the next day and realized he needed storage for a few things he couldn’t take. We were able to secure a unit immediately, the entry code was emailed to us promptly, and there was a welcome packet waiting in the unit , including a new padlock to keep later.
