I moved to Maryland and everything was well until my run in last year with I am guessing was the storage manager. I did not like her attitude, I did not like the way she spoke down to me. There was information not given when I first received my storage and I was trying to explain this to her. She was very rude. If I had the time and a place for my things I would have took my items that day. But I was in town on assignment and did not have time nor place for the items. So, because of her attitude and behavior this would not be the first place I would recommend to my family or friends for storage. How you speak to people and treat people places into the entire experience. The storage area and place was not an issue, but the attitude of the manager was.

Manager is extremely rude, my fiancé and I have been trying to figure out why the payment didn’t go through. When trying to explain we have been back and forth with corporate trying to get ahold of someone in the office. They never answer the phone here and she is so rude! Manager has no customer service skills and needs to find a new job. For four days we could not reach anyone at this office. They don’t return calls and didn’t until a district manager got involved. Storage sense as a company is wonderful. I am a long standing customer and I am happy with my service. But the service he encountered over his unit was so bad I had to warn others. Fleetwood has always been great. It appears the problem is only with the Reading manager.

My experience with storage Sense has been great the personal at this facility are very kind and caring professionals who take pride in there work they are very easy to work with and they are always there for assistance and to answer questions it is very easy to rent a unit and is a quick and fast process they also have a referral program that is really cool if you refer a friend you get a discount from your rent which is a awesome idea overall I’ve been more then happy choosing this facility to store my belongings I know my stuff is safe with them also this is one of the only facility’s around with 30 foot units and vehicle storage is allowed I personally fully recommend storage sense its very convenient and the property is secured oh and I forgot to mention that they put brand new roofs on the storage facility and there are no more leaks from the previous facility owner if you need to find a place to keep your belongings safe storage sense is the place to go

The on-line payment process is awful. Even the manager said that they were no longer going to be using it, however, refused to compromise and refund even one of the over 5 late fees we received even though it was not our fault and I provided proof of this. Polices are inconsistent, and despite having "13 years in customer service," the manager is rude and ignorant, and is incapable of explaining the inconsistencies between what she says and what is written.The facility is average, but be advised the front gate never closes.I was fine with that, but all the late fees and the manager's attitude is why I took the trouble to leave. It is about the same cost as other places. Not worth the headache. With all the closer facilities available, go somewhere else.

On July 14th my family lost our home and everything we owned to a house fire. Luckily, we were blessed enough to be able to receive donations for our new home. However we’re still bouncing around and didn’t have anywhere to put them. We were low on cash, so I started to call around to find a storage unit that was affordable.My first call was to storage sense because I’ve rented from them before.I was greeted by Daniel and after speaking about my situation he quoted me a price, but it was a too expensive for us at the moment. I thanked him and said I’d have to call around for pricing.Later on that day I receive a call about how they would like to help us with the bill for our storage unit.When I got there we were greeted by both Mackenzie and Daniel. Both were so kind and welcoming. Telling us about their own stories, and trying to cheer us up. Staff aside, everything was clean and organized, and they also sanitized the area for us.In less than 24 hours I was given a unit.If you need a place to store your stuff, and you’re looking for a place where they have attention to detail and great customer service, you’ve found it. Best of luck with the switch in management, you guys were a blessing.

INCOMPETENT employees.I had to call the Berks County Police due to Storage Sense putting a lock on my unit for no reason. The so called manager told me I did not pay for March. I told him I have automatic withdrawal. This is the second time they done this. All said and done the lock was removed 5 hours later. I will be going to the local Magistrate . The manager tried to over charge me for March. Officer was on the phone with him. They owe me one month free rent due to the agrevation and inconvenience. Don't rent from them.

🚨 DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 🚨 Management and staff are incompetent and will harass you over their own mistakes. I simply have never encountered employees with worse regard for customer service, and I have regretted ever renting anything from them.
