How Are Storage Auctions Giving Back?

Each of our Storage Sense facilities is participating in Charity Storage auctions and you can join. The process is simple and there is no cost to you, only the good feeling of helping us fund a national organization. 

Founders Barry Hoeven and Lance Watkins started with existing storage space and raised funds to help a community. The organization has grown to work with SSA (Self Storage Association), NVSSA, ISS World Expo and many other businesses. 

Storage AuctionsHow You Can Help 

  1. While cleaning your house our moving boxes around in your storage unit, set a few items to the side that you no longer want. 
  2. Drop them off with the store manager and mention our Charity Storage partnership. 
  3. We will store everything safely in a storage unit on the property. 
  4. Once the storage unit is full we will take pictures and post online at Storage Treasures.
  5. All proceeds will be divided amongst 3 charitable causes. 

Where Are the Proceeds Going?

We are able to choose an organization for the majority of our profits to go to. Storage Sense is giving 60% of each storage auction to the American Heart Association.
