Colorado Springs CO Storage Solutions and Charitable Acts

Organizing for the holidays giving you some stress? They call it the busiest time of year but with our Colorado Springs CO storage solutions on your side, you have what you need to stay on top of the season. Put the lights up and get the tree ready because with Storage Sense, this is the best season yet.

Not only do we have the space to store your extra furniture and decorations but we also work with charities to better our communities. Since we have 2 locations in Colorado Springs we are helping two charities.

Storage Sense Peakview on East Yampa Street is helping Care and Share Food Bank. Local food pantries are very important as the snow storms come more frequently and the temperatures drop a place for people to get hot food is important. A nice warm meal can mean the world to someone in need. This particular food bank is diligent in making sure our southern Colorado members have the proper nutrition.

Since the start in 1972, Care and Share has out grown their original donation a center, a volunteer’s basement and now they have the privilege to affect change on a grand level. They have not only one distribution center but multiple distribution centers in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Sister Dominique Pisciotta would be proud of where her organization has come. Through these donations they are able to help over 7,000 people every year!

Right down the road is Storage Sense at Peterson Air Force Base. They are working with the well know organization, The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. Through this specific program we are given a child who could use some basic supplies and toys to keep the magic of the season alive. Our angel this year is in need of new clothing and coats. To stay warm and maybe also play in the snow we want to give our angel as many warm layers as possible.

The Angel Tree program started in 1979 in Lynchburg VA. With the help of volunteers and generous hearts, kids in need continue to have a great Christmas. New clothing and toys is helpful when a family is going through a hardship during the holidays. The Salvation Army Angel Tree helps relieve some anxiety parents face when coming up with this year’s gifts.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us warm up this season. Your generosity is kind and much appreciated.
