This year we are gathering clothes, towels, and other personal items to benefit Ozone House. Ozone House is non-profit organization assisting homeless youth in our Washtenaw County. Their mission is to provide our young people with safe, stable, reciprocal relationships they need to grow and prosper.
Helping Toys for Tots
Storage Sense in Cape Coral FL, Manassas VA, Plano TX, and others are helping Toys for Tots. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserves deliver toys every holiday season with the message of hope to children in need. Toys for Tots has been around since 1947 and continues to stand by their mission of delivering role models and gifts for our youth who need it most.
Our locations in Hartselle AL, Irving TX, Peabody MA, Wyncote PA, Winston-Salem NC and others have a box ready to accept new unwrapped toys.
Salvation Army and How You Can Help
The Salvation Army is there in a time of crisis, both personal and national. Every neighborhood has a local donation center and our Storage Sense locations in Carlisle PA, Lansing MI, and Madison AL are helping theirs. The Salvation Army hosts many different fundraisers during the holidays and all are beneficial to those in need. Helping Your West Collingswood Heights NJ Community
Storage Sense in West Collingswood Heights NJ needs holiday books to help build up the library at Mosaic Family Success Center. Located in downtown Glassboro NJ, the Success Center provides interactive workshops, family support, and activities the whole family will enjoy. Donate your favorite childhood book to help us this year.
South Central PA Community Involvement
Storage Sense in Harrisburg PA and Hershey PA are both collecting nonperishables to help this holiday season. For those who do not have the means to buy a large feast, the Central PA Food Bank supplies everything you need. Bring your donations to either office and start helping.
Storage Sense on Route 22 in Harrisburg PA is helping the Family United Network. The Network has assisted families since 1996 as a private foster care provider. They help a small number of children began the process of finding a place and family to call home.
Our York PA location is gathering items for Children’s Home of York, the first orphanage in the area, and York Hospital for Children. Clothing, gifts, toys, all these are wonderful for the children in our holiday initiative.
Assisting the Humane Society of Huntsville
Giving back to our pet population in Huntsville AL brings cheer to our hearts this time of year. The Greater Huntsville Humane Society trains, works through adoptions, rescues and educates our community of pets and pet owners. Bring in new animal supplies to restock some of their basic needs.
House of Dawn
House of Dawn in Jonesboro GA was founded in 2000 when Dawn Leneice Murray saw a need for a second chance home. Since then they help teen mothers, and other women facing troubles in their life. House of Dawn is there to offer teen mothers an opportunity to grow a healthy baby and continue to succeed.
Lakewood Community Service Food Bank
Storage Sense Lakewood OH is collecting nonperishables for the Lakewood Community Service Food Bank. The food bank started in 1982 when 12 churches joined together to provide food assistance. Since then, they outgrew their original space and hired a professional staff to meet the need for assistance. As winter approaches they need our help more than ever.
Ingham County Animal Shelter
Located in Mason MI, neighbors to Storage Sense in Lansing MI, is this year’s holiday initiative, Ingham County Animal Shelter. Looking to adopt or need some training tips? Ingham County Animal Shelter matches owners with their ideal pet and teaches the animals. Through volunteers and staff member the support over hundred animals from month to month.
Oak Park MI Holiday Initiative
In years past we supported Crime Stoppers and we are excited to help them again this year. Their mission is to work together to continue to build a safer, stronger, community. Fight crime with local police departments and be an active member in the community. Crime Stoppers serves areas such as Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland and more.
FL Holiday Initiatives to be a Part of
Our locations in Ocala FL are supporting the Humane Society of Marion County. They work hard everyday to improve the lives of our lost pets and teach owners to do the best they can for their furry friends.
Storage Sense in Riverview FL is helping Four Paw Veterinary Hospital. When your pets get sick it can be expensive and heart breaking, but at this local Veterinary Hospital they help our animals get better faster.
Storage Sense Sebastian FL knows how important our youth are that is why they thought it would be a great opportunity to support The Boys & Girls Club of Sebastian. When the school day ends, our kids have somewhere safe to go with an organization like this. Kids complete homework, socialize, all while being safe.
Storage Sense in Vero Beach FL thought it would be a good idea to help a local family with the Economic Opportunities Council. They help clients achieve long term goals of self-sufficiency, give emergency services, improve health and nutrition among many other tasks.
Colorado Springs CO Holiday Initiative
Both of our storage locations in Colorado Springs CO are helping the Care & Share Southern Colorado, which is a food bank for southern Colorado. They strive to beat hunger one meal or donation a time. They program work with other food banks to make sure they have the ingredients they need.
Storage Sense Richland Hills TX
Find our donation box for the Victory Outreach Women’s House in our office on Boulevard 26. Through the Victory Church, people suffering from addiction can find the support, assistance, and guidance here. There is a Women’s House and Men’s House to assist anyone in need.
Community Happenings in Michigan
Storage Sense in Rochester Hills MI is collecting items for Rochester Neighborhood House. They assisted over 3000 household by providing the necessary services like counseling, food pantry, and transportation. We are proud and excited to be working with them this year.
Detroit Good Fellows makes sure kids in Detroit, Hamtramck, River Rouge and Highland Park all receive a box filled to the top with clothing, toys, gifts and more. Storage Sense in Trenton MI has a box in our office to help make this season special with our holiday initiative.
Wayne MI Storage Sense is working with Judson Center, a non-profit human services agency. Drop off baby supplies like diapers, baby wipes, and other items to help expecting mothers.
