Michigan’s finest fair is happening July 29th through August 4th. Sign up for Monroe County’s homemaker of the Year contest. The Monroe Country Fair includes events such as a truck pull, demolition Derby and a Rodeo. This week is dedicated to having fun in the sun before heading back to school. You can ride your favorite carnival rides, eat as much fried food as you can find and do something different each night of the fair.

Our neighbors to the north in Plymouth MI are having the 38th Annual Art in the Park. The event will take place on July 13th through the 15th. You can find glass blowing demonstrations, woodworkers and many other talents. This is the 2nd largest art fair in Michigan and sure to not disappoint this year. This is an experience for the senses and the whole family. Kids will get a chance to try their skills out at many of the stands.
